Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Kinetic Movers Inc. collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit kineticmovers.ca, request a moving quote or get in touch with us.

1. Who we are
Kinetic Movers Inc. is a moving company based at 4 Kings Cross Rd, Brampton, ON L6T 3X8. We are responsible for the personal information we collect and hold, and we handle it in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). 2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Quote request details: your name, phone number, email address, the addresses or postal codes you are moving from and to, your moving date and your move size.
- Anything you tell us when you call, email, or message us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, such as building access details, items to be moved or special requests.
- Details we need to plan, carry out and invoice a booked move.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, standard technical information is processed to deliver and secure it and to help us understand how it is used. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and actions such as clicking our phone number.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare your moving quote.
- To schedule, perform and invoice your move, and to follow up with you about it.
- To keep the website working, secure and easy to use, and to see which pages and contact options are useful.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to protect against fraud or misuse.
We do not use your personal information for unrelated purposes without asking you first, and we do not sell it.
4. Your consent
By submitting a quote form or contacting us, you agree to us collecting and using your information for the purposes in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits, by contacting us. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to give you a quote or complete a move.
5. Who else handles your information
We use trusted providers to run the site and handle enquiries. They only receive what they need to do their job.
- Formspree receives what you enter in our quote forms and sends it to us by email.
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website and processes visitor requests, including IP addresses, to do so securely.
- Google provides Google Tag Manager, which loads measurement tools that help us understand site use, and Google Fonts, which your browser contacts to display our text styles. We also retrieve our public Google review rating and reviews through our own server.
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) suggests matching addresses as you type in the “Moving from” and “Moving to” fields. Only the text typed into those two fields is sent to this service, not your name, phone or email.
- QR code service (api.qrserver.com) creates the QR code that appears if you choose to show our phone number as a code. Our phone number is sent to create it, and the service sees your IP address.
- WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook handle any messages you send us through them, under their own privacy policies. Our on-site chat helper keeps your answers in your browser until you choose to open WhatsApp.
- Our email provider delivers and stores the emails we receive.
We may also share information where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Tools loaded through Google Tag Manager may use cookies or similar technologies to measure traffic and actions on the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings or use a privacy extension. The website still works if you do.
7. Where your information is stored
Some of our providers, including Formspree, Cloudflare and Google, may process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country is subject to that country’s laws, and courts or authorities there may be able to access it.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, such as for tax and accounting records. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
9. How we protect it
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to personal information to the people who need it to serve you. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, or withdraw your consent. Email info@kineticmovers.ca and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
11. Children
Our website and services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
12. Links to other sites
Our site links to services such as Google, Facebook and Instagram. They have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
